Hi i appled for JA back at the start of nov.i previously applied for JB and was given that for a year.when i applied for JA i sent in the form for applying that was under 2 years from your last application (JB). 2 weeks later i recieved a form wit recent history of jobs i applied for and sent that in.today i recieved a social welfare signing on card wit the signing on day and a place for me to sign wit the date to sign on next month 18th JAN.By getting tis signing on card does this mean your application for JA was successful or do they tell u differently by sending out a letter and did other people who applied for JA recieve a signing on card a few weeks after they applied.

    Thanks

    John

You'll probably get another letter tomorrow stating how much you'll get paid.

What happens is some letters are sent out automatically by computer and others are sent out by your dole office and you don't get all the letters about your claim at once.

If you're going on JA they should send you out a letter staing how much you get and how much means they're taking off. Maybe they're changing your payment letter because of yesterday's budget?
