i know there are tons of really moronically ****ing stupid people out there but this really takes the biscuit.

    http://www.rte.ie/ten/2010/1208/coronationstreet2.html

A small number of 'Coronation Street' fans were apparently left confused on Monday night wondering if Manchester's tram service was still running following the accident in Weatherfield which in the central storyline in the soap's 50th anniversary celebrations.

I weep for the human race :(

Perhaps we should wipe for the human race instead of weep.

What he done next was get up and walk back over the same area he slipped on and bang out he went again !

Is this a different IQ test than the one I took at school? I hope it is because when I did that it said anything under 100 was 'reduced mental capacity' or something like that! This was 11 or 12 years ago though!

A list that puts N.Korea ahead of almost every one else including Germany, Japan and Switzerland is not a great source if you ask me.

Anyway, Biffo is included in our average, that messes up the results.

100 is average, 70 and above is normal, 120 is above average. You probably took a different test.

Why? Asians are smart. And Biffo makes me think it should be lower. Hell you lot voted for him.

Can't believe the average IQ is that low ....although given the current economic situation we now find ourselves in I guess it makes sense.

Ha. I remember that pic. The close-up showed that the Luas hit the bus exactly under the 'Should've gone to Specsavers' ad.

I was forced to watch this Coranation Street episode. What amazed me was that after an explosion and tram crash there was sight nor sound of a policeman or fireman for the whole episode.

On a stag in Manchester last year I didn't get a chance to get to my second line of "we love you united" before I was dragged to a police van and given a stern warning. And to think I was only trying to act the prick because i don't even follow soccer.

If 100 is average then anything above 100 is above average by definition.

The Standard deviation is given as 15 in that article, so the normal range is 70-130.

That's not really a new level of stupid. American radio listeners in 1938 thought they were was an alien invasion after hearing a play of War Of The Worlds.

Apples and Oranges. back in those pre-tv days people depended on the radio as their only connection to the rest of the world and the only source of current news. that war of the worlds broadcast was read out like a news report so it was easy to make the mistake.

the 2 situations are not comparable IMO
