    Hey all,

Just wondering if its possible to buy travels vouchers that could be redeemed against any travel company?. Anyone heard of anything like this?

Some travel agents sell vouchers that can be redeemed in their shop. Only drawback is that if the agent goes bust, vouchers are generally deemed invalid.

Other option is to see if tour operators do vouchers, but then you'd be tied to that one operator.

Just a thought: I dislike vouchers because so often they come with restrictive conditions.

Why not create your own voucher, a card that says "I will pay for a holiday or travel package of your choice up to a value of €x"?
