Pity no Earl Strickland still great atmosphere though.

Anyone know how the teams are picked, is it based on rankings?

Think it is rankings, but I'm sure there used to be wildcard selections as well, as that's how Steve Davis used to make the team.

Would love to see Rocket O'Sullivan play in it as he declared he would before

He played it before (late 1990s), and was adequate at best.
Then he tried a few IPT events in America around about 2005 and he got his ass handed to him. So I wouldn't expect miracles if he ever gets selected for the Mosconi again.
And it would be very insulting to the many quality pool players out there if ROS got parachuted in.
On the other hand, Mark Selby with a world pool title to his name already could be an interesting selection someday.

Yeah thought about Selby. But you're right about ROS it would be unfair to drop someone for him

5 points each after afternoon session on day 3. Great win by Boyes against Morris in final singles this afternoon.
