Drug Payments Scheme

    Does anyone know if the amount on this has been raised? It's been 120 euro up to now, it always seems to go up so I would be surprised if if hasn't. Another tax by stealth, as someone who pays the full amount each month, if it HAS gone up again.

    Can't find anything anywhere about this, there was talk of an increase of a further €20 to €140 but I don't see how they can justify this!

    According to this link, the monthly threshold for the Drug Payment Scheme remains unchanged.

    There will be no increases in emergency department (ED) charges, statutory day and inpatient charges, or the monthly threshold for the Drug Payment Scheme.
