    Hi all,

I was made redundant in August and have been unemployed since then. I actually used the redundancy to move abroad for a job, but unfortunately things arn't much better there so I've moved back.
When i visited the tax office i signed to say i was going abroad and that i didn't intend on drawing benefits here for the rest of the year. I then recieved two lump sums into my account from the tax office.
Am i entitled to draw the dole here at all now? Receive backpayment etc? Or was that accounted for in the tax office payment?

    Thanks

If you have enough stamps you will be fine, just because you claimed back tax when you finished your employment that won't make a difference when your claiming dole, what you really need to look at is how long you have been working with the last few years in ireland and if you have the required stamps you should have no problem.

best to just go into your SW office or call them and they will be able to tell you.
