Was Bertie in the Dail for the Budget Speech

    I have to say that I didnt see him. It would be unforgivable if he gave it a miss considering his part in the downfall.

    In most organisations/ businesses the retirees that are still paid give the benefit of their wisdom and knowledge:rolleyes:

    The next government really need to hit the issue of dail attendance and related issues of claiming expenses for daysnot attended. Also the "tradition" in which an ex Taoiseach continues to take a Dail salary but neglects to turn up most of the year.

    It's funny how FF cut the mininsters and taoiseach's pay but didn't touch tds, knowing they only have 2 months or so left anyway. How cynical.

    How is that cynical? Most of them will only have 2 months left as TD's anyway.

    Whats the difference? we have had no say in any of the decisions that have sunk us all for the next generation. Sounds like a dictatorship to me.

    Come back to me in 3 months and we will see. All the cabinet will re -elected, and I would say they will get an individual in each constituency.

    Well, that would be the normal case anyway. Time to pack my case.

    Start shippnig your goods overseas the govermnent will be delighted that the export has increased!!!:D:D
