Christy O'Connor's book wins sports book of the year http://www.irishtimes.com/sports/other/2010/1202/1224284639082.html

Christy is a former Clare goalie (understudy to Davey for many years) and won an All Ireland with St. Joseph's, his past book about goalkeepers was a great read. He's also Jamesey O'Connor's brother, not that that matters to his journalistic abilities :)

Never a more worthy winner - one of the greatest GAA books ever written and in time I think it will stand out as a groundbreaking Irish book because of the way it details such an important part of society. It's about a club but it's about so much more.
Bravo to Christy, he's done all us Gaels a huge service.
