I've just recently shifted back to Scotland but i have a bit of a thing thats annoyin me now. Was lookin through the PSN store and i noticed all the pricings are still in Euro's for me so i went to try and change my Country to UK and it seems it's greyed out and locked to Ireland.

Kind of annoying like, is there any way I can change my account to UK?

I mean it seems irritating that i put in my address and the country is stuck on Ireland.

And if i plan on buying PSN cards, how will they work for me if it's a British PSN card? Because my currency is stuck on Euros and obviously it's Pounds here......

It doesn't matter what country your PS3 is "locked" to.
All you have to do is set up a new account for the UK PSN and then you can buy off the UK PSN and play the game on any account on the system.

I have a US, Japanese, Hong Kong and EU account on my PS3.

What happens though if, lets say, i bought DLC using my UK account for a game that i play online using my original account. Am i pretty much f**ed in terms of that?

EDIT: At the same time though it wouldn't ruin my life or anythin if i just did make a new account altogether anyway. I wouldve preferred to stick to one account though lol

You could email Sony CS and explain to them, can't hurt.

You can use the dlc on any account, but you must buy the dlc from the region from which you bought the game.

For example - you bought Black Ops in Ireland - buy any dlc from IE PSN.
Any new games you buy in Scotland - buy dlc from UK PSN.

You can still play both games and dlc on your original account.

    Make sense?

US dlc won't work with a EU game, but your in Scotland so both EU & PAL.

From someone i know in Finland, UK DLC works both ways(to Finland) but one game he had did not as it had a different publisher.

I don't think the games will differ at all between UK and Ireland so you should be 99% fine.

I think one or two of ye misunderstood my issue.

What would happen if i went to GAME and bought a PSN card worth £50... could i use that on my original account?

When you buy a £ PSN card, you must have an PSN account that accepts £.
However, all usernames on the PS3 will have access to whatever you buy.

EDIT: I did answer your query in my original reply:
