Is this a bad brand in laptops?

I recently bought one and I find the battery dont stay charged for too long it this normal with this brand?

Battery life depends entirely on the laptop and the battery it's fitted in. Some Acers have great battery lives, and others do not. The more details you give the better.

The battery dont charge to full 100% anymore

Lithium batteries degrade with time and use. Older varieties also degrade if they are left plugged in for extended periods of time without being discharged.

I've just replaced my Acer after nearly four years and the only thing that i would complain about was the short battery life.I'd barely get an hour out of a full charge.Apart from that it never gave me trouble until it became too slow for what i needed it for.

my acer is nearly 3 years old and still running fine my dvd burner went after a year is all , according to some others who are in the know there very reliable

My Acer laptop is grand for battery.

I get a good 6 hours out of it when browsing and stuff, and its nearly 3 years old now. Specs were good, and price was low, so I'm still pretty happy with the buy. Decently thin, too.
