Geographic virtual numbers

    Hi all

    I was looking to offer a service to 3 different counties. To help with presenting the business I was thinking of getting a virtual number for each county I will be covering and have them forwarded to my mobile.

    However I just noticed this (from Blueface T&Cs);

    "Customers purchasing products that include Irish geographic PSTN numbers acknowledge that they are normally resident in the Irish geographic MNA (Minimum Numbering Area) that the number is requested for. It is in contravention of the Irish Communications Regulatory body directives to subscribe to a geographic PSTN number if you are not normally resident in the MNA of the Irish geographic number allocated to you."

    What I get from this is that you'd have to have an address in each county, am I right?

    I think that only applies to residential numbers. Business numbers are different. I know of Business with Cork, Dublin and Belfast numbers and they are in Co. Louth. Take a look at DDIX.net they have a lit of resellers of Irish numbers, last time I looked they were very cheap. Though I would recommend Blueface, I am a residential customer.

    Thanks for your response Mylow.

    I've set up an account with Blueface, a lot of people seem to recommend them, but I just haven't signed up to any service just yet.

    When I seen that in the T&Cs I just wondered about it. I've also noticed another provider www.in2tel.ie who advertise number for other areas to increase effectiveness and percieved presence in regions where a business does not exactly have an office. Just what I was thinking.
