    Hi all,

I have a HTC Wildfire and i downloaded angry birds and i am having a few problems just wondering if anyone else is havin them.

    1. Unbelievably bad lag during game play.
    2. Sometimes takes ages to load - only shows half the page.
    3. It's the only app/game that does not show up on my task killer

    Maybe its just my phone

    cheers

Not an expert just an addict, if I was you I would uninstall & install again. I have a HTC Desire and it works well for me so far...too well, I could do with uninstalling it myself (for different reasons)

Get advanced task killer then try it. I'm on desire hd and its grand anyways but advanced task killer is great .

I've had similar problems with it. I have a samsung spica and have reinstalled it several times, I've just given up on it at this stage!

Runs fine on the desire, but I know its exactly as you're saying when running on the hero. I'd say the wildfires CPU just cant cope and possibly low ram.

    Seems it does have problems.
Have a read here for a hacky workaround.

I uninstalled it and reinstalled it but its still the same. I also have advanced task killer but it will not show up on it so i can never kill the game

On my SGS it gets the CPU noticeably warm and drains the battery sharpish so I doubt a Wildfire would fare much better.

The HTC wildfire is not able to run angry birds as it is not powerful enough having half the processing power of the desire.
Never Fear they are making a new Light version

    Taken from the official blog

We are preparing a new solution for the next update, but for the time being, the Android devices listed below are not officially supported by Angry Birds:
    • Droid Eris
    • HTC Dream
    • HTC Hero
    • HTC Magic/Sapphire/Mytouch 3G
    • HTC Tattoo
    • HTC Wildfire
    • Huawei Ideos/U8150
    • LG Ally/Aloha/VS740
    • LG GW620/Eve
    • Motorola Backflip/MB300
    • Motorola Cliq/Dext
    • Samsung Acclaim
    • Samsung Moment/M900
    • Samsung Spica/i5700
    • Samsung Transform
    • Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini
    • T-Mobile G1
Furthermore, devices running Android platform version below 1.6 or custom ROMs are not officially supported.
A lightweight Angry Birds in the works

Looks like you will have to play the waiting game.
