Irish release date for Black Swan??

    Just read its out in America but wont be released in Ireland till 21/01/11 here. Is that right? If so, bloody hell! Im dying to see it!

    That's probably right. Films that have a chance at the Oscars are normally released here around that time so that they can benefit from the publicity. It's such a pain having to hear about it for so long without being able to see it!

    I watched this last night in New York.. It's an amazing movie. I won't go into a review but it's a seriously moving piece of film.. Natalie Portman is flawless. Oscar written all over it.

    Was wondering about this, heard about it a while ago, it won/was nominated for some film festival awards and released this month yet nowhere here has it listed.

    The same thing happened with Lost in Translation if I recall correctly, took bloody ages to hit the local cinema even though it had already come out in the UK for a month or so.
