Waterpump replacement on a 2002 318i Touring Estate. Any idea what this will cost?

Do you know what engine is in it? They changed from the M43 to the N46 around that time.

The pump from a motor factors is about €40 + 1 hours labour to fit. A good independent shouldn't be too bad for the hours labour, say max of €60.

I changed one on an E36 323 a few months back and I have zero experience under a bonnet apart from topping up the washers and checking the oil levels.

I did a bit of googling and got some DIY guides. Took me about 4 hours in total ... including bleeding the system afterwards.
