For as long as you meet the qualifying conditions.

Does one get taken off it? i.e. if they're still unemployed. I thought JSB was the one that's difficult to get onto in the first place (re. having enough credits built up and satisfying the other conditions, what they are I'm not sure) Isn't JSA what you're changed to when your credits run out? Or have I got that all wrong?

    Other way around.

OP contact the DSFA and find out yourself..though tbh it could change in the budget so wait until wednesday before contacting them.

afaik JSB (the non means tested payment) lasts for 13 months max. but this might be dependent on how many contributions you have made while you were working

JSA on the other hand is means tested.
