Webtext and SMS in one app

    Hey

    I had been using a tarted up cabbage web interface saved as a web clip to send my webtexts but I got a little sick of reading the reponse in the messages app and going to reply only to get message send failure (out of credit).

    Is there any (jailbreak obviously) app that can send webtexts from the same application as used for SMS messages. Or even a webtext app that can access the SMS database?

    I was looking for this awhile back too, couldn't find anything :( Haven't looked in awhile tho as I switched to 3 and have free any network texts now.
    Or even a webtext app that can access the SMS database?

    JellySMS does this, that's what I used to use for all my webtexting.

    I meant the sms database as in the way irealsms works. not your contacts...

    I downloaded EIRTEXT free to see if it did this but it doesnt. Does Jely do this or just the contacts again?

    Ah yeah I get ya. JellySMS shows your sent SMS but not received. I don't believe it's possible for an "AppStore app" to read the SMS db - api restrictions etc.

    I thought as much which is why i mentioned jailbreak apps. I know the cabbage and eirtext developers are on here and perhaps jelly too. Perhaps on of them wuld cnsider soething for the cydia store.

    OR somebody could always make a free cydia app (it is christmas...)

    there is an alternative messaging app alright, doesnt too webtext tho afaik :(

    FANTASTIC app... I honestly couldn't use my iPhone for SMS without it!!
