Hi guys need a few tips on what to do here, I am 24 (birthday in sep) and have gone into college as a mature student doing sport and rec. The course is 2 years long so i'll be coming up 26 when i finish, is there anyway to still join the army after my course. Thanks

You will be too old for general service i.e. the non-comissioned route if you join then but you could still apply for a cadetship i.e. the commissioned route.

You can also enlist in the Naval Service up to the age of 27.

thanks guys, ya need a good leaving cert for the cadetship. its a bit poor of the army to have it 17-25 and the naval service 17-27.
