    I'm selling a few george best bank notes over on adverts and it got me thinking...........

    If we get fecked out of the euro and have to restart our own currency then what/who would we put on our notes?

    No more people of the past, i reckon maybe on the back of the notes we print - in no particular order

    Georgia Salpa
    Caroline Morahan
    Miriam O'Callaghan (maybe on a 50 or 100 for the more discerning gent)
    A pint of guinness
    Jack Charlton
    Cliffs of Moher
    Bag of Tayto Cheese and Onion


    On the front.........

    Put Jacky Healy-Rae on the new million punt note. People would then know that it was worthless.

    We could also have a 1.1 million punt note with Michael Lowry's face on it. It would still only be worth 1 million punts (or 75p stg).

    I have a zimbabwe 100 billion dollar note. Bought it on ebay for a fiver, i think it's worth about 10cent! Cowen is only an amateur when it comes to the whole economy wrecking thing:D

    It gets harder and harder to think of what image to put on your notes as your print more and more

    By the time Zimbabwe got to $100trillion it appears all they had left was some rocks.
