Finishing college

    Hi guys.

I'm finishing up college at the end of this month. Suffice to say I have nothing lined up after. I'll be in to sign on come Jan.

I'm wondering what documents I'll need to bring in. I know there's obvious ones like ID, bank statements (how far back?)... I had a part-time job until last February, would I need to bring in a P45?

I'd love to hear any advice from people who've been through this. I'm no good with paperwork and will try and collect together the appropiate stuff over the Christmas holidays.

yes you will need your P45, 2 forms of ID a passport and drivers license will do, a bill like electric or phone to prove you are living there. if its JSB you are claiming you won't need bank statements but if its JSA you will need at least 6 months of statements.
