    Hey,

Had a quick search and nothing came up. Got a new lap top and want to put all the songs from my iphone onto itunes on the lap top. What's the handiest way of doing this?

    Cheers.

Dunno about iTunes but I'm pretty sure Sharepod will let you pull the songs off your phone to the laptop. Then you should be able to add them to the iTunes library on the laptop and start synching from it.

You cannot use iTunes to upload the songs from the iPhone to a new laptop, it will upload the apps but not the music. You need to manually copy the tracks from the old laptop to an external hard drive, then copy to the new laptop.

Music sync. is one-way only, from iTunes to the iPod/iPhone.

    +1 for SharePod (http://www.getsharepod.com/)

Cheers guys, I downloaded sharepod there but its only letting me pull one song at a time. How do I select my whole music library to rip onto itunes?

i think its in one of the menu's, select all or is there a box beside each track
i was able to copy them all at once
actually just click on any song and then press ctrl and A on the keyboard to select all and then click copy to computer
