    or if you'd prefer Shimano

I have one (along with many others here) and it's absolutely fantastic.

If you'd like to save yourself a fair bit of money for Christmas pressies you could go for this :)

I'm 5'7'' also (well, very slightly taller) and I went for a 52 although the size calculator on their site recommended that I go for a 50. The 52 suits me perfectly.

EDIT: Canyon are good to deal with in my experience. I've currently got an MTB on the way from them so I'm a repeat customer.

Btw, I could be making a presumption here but are you starting out? If so, why carbon and why this time of the year? I'm fairly well up-to-date on what's out there at the moment and I haven't found anything to match the Canyons which I've linked above in terms of 'bang for buck' although, given the current weather conditions, you wouldn't be able to properly experience their full capabilities. It'd be an awful shame for you buy one, take it out, slip on the ice and wreck it.
