Following on from the thread with the portable North pole video for kids I wanted to add this site I found for parents with young kids.........

    http://www.northpole.com/Mailroom/

It has a variety of rooms where the kids can play games as well as write a letter to Santa and in 3 days receive a reply!!!:)

We sent ours 2 days ago but I will let ye know how the reply back is......

I was wondering if the Mods could possibly sticky this just for the xmas period and then other posters may add any sites that they found which may interest others as well. It's just so easy for these links to get lost within all the different threads and to be missed.....Thank you:)

NORAD ( North American Aerospace Defense Command) track santas progress every year as he makes his Christmas Eve deliveries. Been watching this for a few years now - always fun.

Some other fun bits on the site also.

Seems like a good idea to me. We'll give it a bash.

Got the letter back and to be honest it is a bit crappy but the site is still packed with loads of xmas related things for the kids:)

I did up my own letter which I will happily email to anyone who is interested to personalise for their own child, just send me a pm :)

I then printed a "stamp" on a label, and then stuck the envelope back in the printer to create a postal watermark. I then put it with the rest of the post and left it for her to see. She absolutely loved it :)

Portable north pole. Brilliant. Even pronounced Róisín properly!
