Has anyone else noticed that Dawn's "slim" milk turns sour much quicker than the exp date on the carton? Shouldn't skimmed milk last longer since there isn't any fat in it?

Milk souring is down to the milk sugar (lactose) breaking down, not the butterfat. So there should be a little more lactose in skimmed milk by percentage.

Dawn whole milk seemed to go off a bit quicker than expected / printed, over the last few months. Though that could just be our office fridge, or someone being lazy putting it back.
