Quite worried about Saha, he always seems to score against us.

Just saw the starting line-up and Chelsea look very strong today with Essien and Terry back. Im backing them to win by a few today. Can see Drogba scoring a few.

No need to steal a goal, when Setanta Sports can give you them for free.

The crowd/on-field sound seems completely out of sync with the picture on Setanta Ireland.

what's up with the sound? are they broadcasting the background noise from a different match? you can hear the odd ref whistle in the middle of a run of play with no free kicks.

I said that last week too. It's very muted. It feels unnatural!

Fair play to Neville there getting up and jogging away,

I think he was unlucky with the challenge, it was not malicious for me.

Fair play to Neville for getting up and not making anything of it but he should have got a yellow for that challenge.

Penalty to Chelsea, stupid from Neville, just stupid.

Howard did as well as he could, but imo I don't really understand what exactly it is Howard could do there.

did Anelka not run into him?

    GOAL!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,648 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

That was harsh for me, What could Howard do there? Anelka knocked it miles wide of him then ran into Howard,

    Goal for Drogba 1-0

What could Howard have done? Anelka barges straight into him. It nearly looks like he's trying to smash into Howard.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,027 ✭✭✭✭titan18

Stupid from Neville but the decision was interesting. If anything it looks like Anelka flings himself into Howard.

    No way!

Watching that again, Anelka did actually throw himself at Howard...dodgy decision.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,153 ✭✭✭everdead.ie

He shuffles right then goes left into him which is funny really I don't know why he didn't just chase after the ball he could easily of outpacedHoward who would of been on the turn.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,386 ✭✭✭smuckers

we need to pick up the tempo too pedestrian, glad we're 1-0 up tho

He just tried to get Howard sent off!

I thought he was going to open up and curl it around Howard with his right foot, that is what he normally does,

What he did do was baffling and I really don't think it should have been a penalty, a Red Card coupled with that penalty would have been as unfair a decision as I have seen.
