Upgrades ?

    Hi, guys I am getting an A&K masada tomorrow (hopefully) but it is second hand and has a low fps which i'd like to increase and I will probably want a bit more range, so my plans are to install a tight bore barrel, guarder hop-up bucking, and a new motor as i've heard the a&k masada one is rubbish. Anyway my questions really are,
    What do you think of the upgrades I intend on doing

    Does anyone have any advice on upgrading an aeg, because it's my first time having a go at this.

    or any videos would help, as i'm not certain what i'm doing,

    If it has low fps you will probably be looking at a spring change but it could be an airleak around the hop up, if it's still low after the hop is installed you'll have to look at the gearbox.

    The mods you're doing are fine but if you don't know what you're doing and don't feel confident arriving into a shop with the parts in a bag because you couldn't reassemble it...don't attempt it.

    Leave it into a shop or to someone who knows what they're doing to be done properly, upgrades can break your heart if they don't work and you can't find the problem. Play it safe and have it done properly.

    If however you do want to attempt it have a look around youtube and www.mechbox.com for some videos.

    thanks, I'll have a look into it, the website looks very helpful, I don't suppose you know how much it would cost in a shop, if i already had the upgrades

    It'll vary from shop to shop depending on how long it'll take so I can't really say but ask the shop and they should be able to give a guide price:)
