Smoke leaking from Chimney

Hi I just bought a 3 bed semi. After having a fire down for a couple of hours, there seems to be a smell of smoke in the bedroom directly above my sitting (this room is along the same wall as the chimney). What do i do with this problem? Is this covered in my homebond if i need to get it fixed?

Hi
