hi all. im just wondering if anyone here could help me in anyway..

I am trying to find a puppy to be a very welcomed addition to my family.. I would love to rehome a puppy but what im looking for is specific, a yorkshire terrier pup. i have contacted shelters etc but no luck, looked on the net no luck because everything that appears to be perfect is up the country, im based in munster so this is my search area, ive tried shop ads, newspapers and no luck.. ive also researched breeders but nothing.. im really just having no luck!!!!

this year has been hard due to a bereavement of a family member and furthermore this year our 10 year old yorkshire terrier died.. I really want to find a puppy for my mother and yorkshire terriers have deep sentimental meaning to our family..

just wondering if anyone would have any suggestions of where i can go from here because im having no luck.

    thanks

Ashton Pound have four at the minute (thankfully it says three have a home if not reclaimed) so here is the link..

    http://www.irishanimals.ie/terriers_homes.html

    or

    http://www.dogsindistress.org/

I know its not the area you want but you may have to travel to get your dog. We got one of our dogs in Ashton, we live in Galway and had to go to Dublin to meet him, fill in the forms. Then when we got the call that he was ours we had to go back up the following Wednesday.

    So worth it though!

If I see anymore Yorkies in your area I will let you know, what county/ies suit you better?

EGAR has four Yorkie/Bichon pups at the minute, I think there is still one still available.

    www.egar.org

or search for East Galway Animal Rescue on facebook..
