Vodafone 845 wifi problems

    Hello, I'm on eircom and I'm trying to have my 845 pick up my wifi signal. It picks up all the other connections around me but not my wifi. Just wondering is there any setting my router is meant to be on for it to work? It picked it up once today but wouldn't load it. My wifi works perfectly. I tested it. Any ideas what's wrong? x

    Ok, I'm stealing someones wifi and it connects to the gmail and app store but doesnt download any apps when I hit install. Just says downloading. The browser doesn't load sites either... Is there anything I need to download for the browser or settings i have to change on the phone?

    Haven you even got to enter your security key yet?

    What router do you have?

    Yeah, I got my security key a couple of times. I've tried it for the last few hours. It says connected and then it doesn't do anything. The net doesn't load. I have netopia a 2247-02. It popped up there for a couple of mins said I was connected. Not it says I'm not in range when I'm right next to the router with it.. :(

    Its probably something simple. Im not familiar with the 845 so dont know has its setup. Have you tried with WEP disabled on the router?

    Yeah, I've turned off wep and it doesn't read still. Is there any setting that I could change on the phone or something man?
