I am on the X and Os system and go in once a week to put my docket in the box.
I was so stupid this week,
becuase of the bad weather (and i need to take the bus in) i kept putting going into the city from my town off until the last day hoping the weather would have approved. Then i totaly forgot to go in and just realised 10 minutes ago. Im so angry with myself, now i wont have a payment next week.
Where do i go from here? I assume i go in monday morning 9am. What will happen, will they still have issued money to me next week? Will i get nothing next week, will i have lost my money completely, will the pay me twice the following week???
    Thanks in advance

I'm on that scheme as well. AFAIK I know you have to submit your form by 12pm on the day after the week ends e.g. my dockets go from wens - tues so I have until 12pm on wens to deliver them. You can submit them early and you can also submit them by post instead of delivering them to the office therefore it is hard to not get them in on time. I had an awful slog in the snow down to deliver mine as because of my job I don't know my shifts in advance.

While I'm sure that this week they'll take into account the issues people are having getting around with the weather if you didn't contact them to inform them of your situation they may not allow you to submit on Monday and dock you a week or close your claim in the worst case scenario. At the very least I'd say your cheque will be delayed by one week as the cheques are usually sent out on a Friday (at least for me they are, I get the cheque on Tuesday morning).

Fingers crossed for you that they let you submit next Monday.

thanks for your reply, will trekk in on monday morning and hand it in, actually would there be any use in putting in the outside box tomorrow (sat morning) and calling them on monday morning and explaining?

I'm not too sure on that, my local office hasn't got any letter box outside at all so when it's closed you can't post anything in which is a pain in the ass!

I see that they've extended collection times for those who have to go to the PO so hopefully they'll be grand about the delay getting your docket in.
