    Not sure if this is the right forum!

    My girlfriend just had an 18 week scan and theres a Y on the top right of the pic. What does this mean/stand for?

    Thanks

    nothing of any significance or nothing to worry about

    just a still pic of the screen, so there was prob a y there to click on for yes eg yes to enlarge or zoom in or something

    def nothing to worry about!)

    As far as I remember (and its 12 years since I last used an USS machine) it simply refers to the x and y axis. One side has a small x and the upper end has an small y.
    It only means that its a 2d picture/snap shot.
    Absolutely nothing to worry about.

    Ok rest assured it is nothing to do with Y chromosomes if thats what you were thinking!!! :P

    Could it simply be a Y axis ? Is there and X on the other axis ?

    There no x on the bottom that I can see.

    Not sure how to attach the pic to this, if that would help.

    Someone was telling me y means a girl?

    Was your gf camping by herself in the woods during August by any chance?
