Got this on Grafton st this morning. Taught it was a good deal, as its 30 pound sterling on HMV.co.uk and Amazon.co.uk.

The regular edition is 17.99 euro on Bluray as well, and I think its 15 euro on DVD.

    **EDIT**
The regular bluray is actually 17.99 euro. Fixed the above to reflect that.

Am so tempted to pick up the special edition..

.. but that briefcase is just gonna take up more room! :D

€17 for the regular Blu-ray is great value though.

I tried getting it in Dundrum earlier. It wasn't on sale by 5 o'clock. The guy behind he counter said that they had some but it wouldnt be put on sale till tonight or tomorrow. Gave up and went home. Anyone got any news if it's gone on sale in Dundrum yet?

I was actually going to post this very thread after I picked up mine :)

It's great value, the same edition is £29.99 on hmv.co.uk.

One warning though: Cobb's totem is damn addictive, I have not stopped spinning it since I came home...no counter top is safe :pac:

A good few in Galway...I brought it to the counter all giddy then in the queue saw the light and realized I have no need for a stupid little suit case that will take up too much room and bought the normal version lol.

Was just kicking myself for pre-ordering the normal edition, then this made me cop on a bit:p

    Yeah.. I'm the same!

I love the idea of the totem but to be honest, that suitcase is just gonna take up space.

And the non-special edition at €18 is a bargain!

yeah picked this up in HMV Liffey Valley today, nice slip cover on the Blu-Ray which has Digital Copy and DVD included. Well done HMV, beating most if not all the online stores for both Standard and Briefcase Edition. Watched half of it this afternoon great picture and High Def sound beats the hell out of when I saw it in Vue in Liffey Valley last summer :)

I'm a sucker for special editions of things. I don't think I've enough space for something that big. Too many special editions of games/films already.

May need to buy a bigger house. :pac:

    A special edition house possibly?

We got the special edition in Dundrum today - yes, it is big and bulky but it looks cool. Have never seen the film (our son was very young at the time and we did not want to leave him with babysitters (aunts)) but have heard great things about it.

Has anybody tried to download the digital copy that you can get with the blu ray version? The code in my case doesn't seem to work :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,814 ✭✭✭Nemanja91

The code may only work with a UK iTunes account, that is what happened with my Watchmen Blu-Ray anyway. When you are creating a UK iTunes account you are prompted for a UK credit card but just follow this link and you don't have to.

No problems with mine. I just followed the instructions on the card and downloaded it with itunes. I've and Irish account. Make sure you select Ireland on the webpage and not UK.
