    Consumer rating, not Review or test labs, so a different way of looking at the performance,

    Interesting and reaffirms the problem with All Seasons, some are genuinely excellent in All Seasons, others are woeful in Snow and Ice (ie they are "3 Season"). Looking at a rating range of 2.4 (lowest) to 8 (highest). Thats the difference in stuck like on Summers to Winter tyre traction in this season.

    Hankook, Yokohama and Dunlops all near the bottom, Conti's, Bridgestone, Pirelli and Michelin at the top.

    Middle of the road but overall quite good rating for the Kumho Ecsta ASX, which are budget tyres. Also had the highest combined mileage (34million) and a high "would buy again" rating.

    That Kumho brand is growing on me. Bought two previous sets of tyres from them and they got good reviews online and performed very well when I used them.
