on the mondeo you need to click down the windows a few times (as in until they go down all the way), and repeat it a few times..(from the master controls)

this kicks in the auto closure feature for the 4 windows.

when that is done you hold down the lock button on the fob or press it twice i think and the windows will close up themselves... if they are open.

Also try pressing and holding the "Lock" button for several seconds.

If your car is equipped, that should close them.

If you have 4 electric windows press the lock button until they go up, if just front windows you have to turn the key in the lock until they go up.

    Found out this:
Key in ignition, turn on ignition.
    Open all windows.
Then close them one by one, and hold the button down for around 10 seconds after the window has closed.
    Do that to all windows.

    Ignition off.
Ignition back on and open at least one window.

Ignition off, and get out the car.

Put the key in the door, and turn to lock the car then hold it there for 10 seconds.

    Should sort it out!!

I'm not sure about using the remote locking, but on my Astra G's, if you lock the door with the key itself (by turning the key) and then turn it back again to alarm it and if you keep it held in the turned position while the windows are open, they will close.

With the remote locking, hold down the lock key for about 5 seconds I think, and the windows should go up automatically then...assuming you have that option available :pac:

Works on both an 08 Mondeo and a 98 Civic :D
