I haven't been too bad, taking every job on its merits, if its not safe to do it, its not being done until it is..
The Driving has been the scourge the past few days, my van being rear wheel drive isn't best suited for these conditions so i've been putting off work that's outside of town.
Hope you all stay safe for the next few weeks :)

Jaysus, i must be the only one in the country that's working.
All jobs cancelled today tho, so i'll take the previously suggested fire option.

managd to install a couple of fta systems although they were at gable height at mo, hardest part is the traveling.

We are still out and about, leaving travelling until after 11am and keeping it as local as possible. Its mainly FTA systems at the moment being installed along with tv retunes for the irish channels via an aerial. It actually seems the trend is that people are copping on to the fact you dont need to be paying sky for the UK/Irish national channels.

i was in a T-shirt todaywith a lovely view of the mediterranean sea just north of Perpignan doing an upgrade to a Humax HDR box...
mind you i had to travel over 70 miles with the first 20 miles or so on sheet ice at 20 mph...... getting back was much easier...
not looking forward to our annual visit to the UK in 2 weeks time......if it is anything like last year... remember all those 'tunnel' Probs!!!!!

Inside jobs only my life is worth more than a few quid. Busiest time of the year and have 2-3 weeks booked up as soon as it clears.

Never used as many briquettes ;)

@ snaps - Noticed the trend aswell never sold as many freesat systems as I have in the last month.

Its mainly because 2 of the local deflectors have been turned off, so people are looking to get their UK channels back.

Our van got stuck yesterday morning outside Castlebar, a local farmer had to help out with a tractor. We are thinking of calling a halt to it all until it gets milder.

    All,

Just remember money is not everything, we can all go back to the customer the next day, week.
Plus if, push came to shove, your insurance could say "Not safe conditions to work in" so your PL could be invoid. "Your health is your wealth"

    Regard,

    Gerry
