Just wondering if anybody has come across a remote that could operate a Ferguson Ariva combo box. Have a few older customers that find the ferguson remote hard to use with to many buttons, amazon have a master remote with 6 buttons which would be ideal but it only operates tv's , any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

The jolly line of remotes have a simple version for hotels etc. that can be programmed to work with this receiver, which is RCU-600 compatible.

Thanks, sounds like that remote could do the job, its the amount of buttons on some remote controls that freaks older :eek:people out. The fergusons i've been installing are the 200 Ariva model. What website sells these jolly remotes and what code do you enter for the Ariva.

If your in the trade McGrath Electronics in Mayo do them too, http://www.mcgrathelectronics.ie

You have to program them using a USB programmer, the advantage is that if the batteries go then it won't need to be reprogrammed.

Nice one, the usb programed remote sounds like the one to go for as losing the codes with other remotes can be an issue,Whats the weather like in the midlands , are you getting any work done down there? . I got the box set of the series Mad Men, you should check it out , its the best Tv i've seen in awhile.
