Going to dye my hair...1st time

I want to dye my hair brown, so my plan is to go into boots and buy permanent 'nice n easy' brown hair dye.

I'd say its easy enough to do...just how long does permanent dye last before I have to re-dye?
I get my haircut short and let it grow to medium before i get it cut again [usually every 5 weeks] If this makes any difference.
I still don't know how much this nice n easy dye cost's so if anyone knows how much it costs, where's the cheapest place to get it....nd if its actually any good?

never dyed my hair before so any advice is appreciated......

Permanent dye is permanent-it'll grow out with your hair. Depending on how fast your hair grows(and your natural colour) you may get between 3-6 weeks before you need to dye any regrowth. Get a Boots hair colour, they regularly have multibuy offers and discounts on.

i always dye my own hair cos its so much cheaper!Usually lasts me over a month before i notice roots. if they dont have any offer on in boots try tesco, they usually have a good choice and its usually a couple of euro cheaper. prob same with dunnes etc

depends what brand you go for but you should be able to get one for €7+. it will be more for ones with highlights etc. one word of advice is that the colour doesnt always end up like it may say on the box. did mine with some shade of brown once and left the dye in a bit too long and my hair turned out nearly black, although it faded after a week or so.good luck!
