I going to make an effort to buy Irish or at least from Irish sellers for Christmas. Does anyone know any good ones? I am looking for a variety of products (clothes, beauty products, toys, books etc)

I dont know if you'll get an Irish site that does them all but www.kudosbeauty.ie is quite good for beauty products, www.easons.ie for books - is it something specific you're looking for?

I know. I was looking for any link to irish retailers for different products.

    Thanks for the links.

http://www.whitewitch.ie for beauty products, I've used them before and they're v good.

Try etsy's shop local function, you can search for craft shops available in Ireland.

    Thanks.

www.mabelandviolet.com has some really nice stuff but I don't like www.doo-lally.com at all. The clothes look very cheap and nasty!

Yeah I get their emails but have never been tempted to purchase anything off the site - not my style!!

I thought of this one as well:

www.peoplelovepresents.com is a really nice site as well, loads and loads of gift ideas! Only came across it recently.

www.style-tonic.com has great clothes, it's quite pricey but have bought one or two pieces from it.

    Both Irish!

Thanks for the mabel & voilet link, some really nice pieces :)

They were talking about Irish online stores on the Ray D'Arcy show the other day as apparently it was the day where most online sales were done in the world.

They recommended a couple, the two that I can remeber are:

    http://www.prettygirliethings.ie/ and http://www.formosafashion.com/

They were both doing discount 20% codes for the listemers but I can't for the life of me remember what they were!

Just because it has .ie in the address does not mean its Irish. I am not suggesting any of the links posted are not Irish Web sites.
I heard a woman on either the last word or newstalk telling the presenter pixmania.ie is an Irish based company. Which it's not! People listening to that may buy from them thinking they are Irish.

Just saying, beware thats all ;)

Well I've bought from Doo-Lally a few times, in fact my first foray into online clothes shopping was with them - I've since been brave enough to try other sites for online clothes shopping since - and I've been extremely happy with the quality of the clothes I've bought, not cheap and nasty at all. Don't knock it till you've tried it I say!

I Love Shopping.ie is a really good website with good offers for discounts on many Irish sites, it's good to have a one-stop place for lots of different websites, Lady Umbrella is another cool site I discovered too - it has gorgeous tee shirts, although I haven't bought one yet I'm thinking about it! I'm definitely up for supporting Irish business through these hard times, and giving them them a fair chance.

I don't know a lot about this site - my sister-in-law told me about it the other day, but she said that beautyfeatures.ie is a cool site - it does skin and haircare beauty products. Pressieport looks cool actually must have a good nosey around, also another few t-shirt websites (I know, not the ideal choice of garment in this weather!) but hairybaby.ie is brilliant and puck.ie* looks good too.

Or maybe you'd prefer to try puckout.ie - sorry!
