Can you insure a commercial jeep privately if it is just for domestic use. The jeep is not for use within a business just on private land mainly.

Any help would be great thanks.

I kept getting the same responses.. So i just insure mine as Commercial and ensure it has a SD & P clause on it..

Generally, the terms "not possible" translates to "not willing" with regard to insurance companies. It seems to vary from one company to the next, dictated by their own policies rather than legislation (of which I'm aware anyway).

I know a few people who have had trouble with this, similarly I know some who got insured privately without a sweat 'once the vehicle is not being used commercially'. Go figure.

Bit of a grey area perhaps.
