My Laptop had a slight fall the other day and it looks like it has taken a little damage, basically I think its the touch pad thats broken because when I log in sometimes the onscreen cursor is shakeing all over the place and I have no control over it however on other occasions like right now the cursor is fine and I have full control, just wondering whats wrong and can it be fixed?

It might be that something worked its way loose when the laptop fell. You'll have to get someone to open it up and check all the connectors before you'll know for sure.

I agree, i'd say it's a loose connection. Depending on the laptop it might not be too difficult to disassemble enough to check.
