Any particular make or calibre? I think John Lambert might have one or two. Had a .30-06 a while back anyway.

John lambert had a 30.06 stainless synthetic, had a look at it mint condition.

Also DMA in wicklow had a 22-250 stainless synthetic the last time was in, it was virtually brand new.

Jim Griffin has at least one. In 6.5x55 cal. I know because a friend is heading over to check it out.

Thanks guys. Usually deal with John Lambert, he had a couple but has only a heavy barrel 6.5 at de mo, not really sure what im looking for, ideally a .270 or 25-06 with a view to using the action for building a custom within the next couple of years, so a cheapish second hand one would be ideal. Have an itch to do somethin different and Im not quite sure what it is at the moment!

Lightweight, long-barrelled mountain rifle in .25-06 or .270. Would love one for myself.

I have a sako 75 in 270win. It has a match grade lite wather barrel 21 inches. It is threaded 1/2 inch and proofed with a custom fluted bolt pillar and glass bedded into a macmillan sako 75 stock. Gun has fired about 200 rounds.

It will shoot any ammo 110's 130's into less than a half an inch. The top quality barrel gives excellent velocities. wont be selling until the end of the deer season . 2000 euro no offer! Would take an lrs as a partial trade.
A great rifle sure ya can shoot a few deer with it sometime gixer nice trigger not for cold hands!

There is a 270 in Hilltop that I'm pretty sure is a Sako 75. Give them a call.

    I think that's a Tikka 695. Cracking rifle though.

Yea seems like an interesting package alright! Wouldnt mind a few shots out of it sometime.. sounds accurate enough but is it capable of head shots or is that a bit of an issue?? Dont think Id be prepared to get rid or the LRS for it tho, would go to €500 if ye thro in a nice atec moderator! Sure that will cover the price of the mounts for the R8 '',)

I will thro in the atec but i only want three hundred for the lot. Who needs head shots when ya can shoot em in the gut (very little carcass damage and very little carcass). As for the R8 well there a bit too girly for me id have nothing to do with blaser shotguns or rifles shoddy workmanship and far too feminine.;)

Ha ha yea I know what ye mean bout the R8, be far to feminine to go wit your big manly moustache and your beast of a deer dog! I agree the blaser shotguns are only scrap too, who would want one of them! Overpriced badly made durt :)
