hyundai coupe exhaust

    any body know about hyundai coupe exhausts,

    I went to an exhaust fit shop,they said its the (rubber) part that joins the
    exhaust to the engine, thay siad hyundai make the part and would get a price for me and call the next day.

    No call so i called back,thaey said the lad i was talking to wasnt there,call the next day same story.

    Anyone on here know anything? price etc

    Any ideas where i could get this fixed? can the part be bought online, price etc

    Dont think the part youre talking about is rubber.Sounds like its the exhaust manifold thats gone--common enough on the coupe to be honest--Is it plastic or metal??

    From what I remember it comes in 2 ways.One of them you can just buy the manifold(plastic) but if its the one piece one then youre stuffed--I think theyre about 800 euros since the cat is made onto it.


    Ive had success in the past repairing them with 2 part liquid metal on the metal ones and a decent epoxy on the plastic ones.

    I think the lad said it the bit that goes between/joins the manifold and exhaust. Is it a flexable part maybe? did you fix it yourself? what with?
    where can i buy the stuff to repair it?
