The date didn't change over from 27th to 28th and when i noticed i tried to wind it over which didn't work either, now it keeps stopping altogether and wont work for more than a minute at a time unless i shake it. Have it 14 months (service guaranteed only for 12).
Any idea what the problem might be?

best leave it and dont try wind it or change the time as you may cause more damage, even though your 2 months over guarantee id still think you shouldnt have to pay for the repair if you bring it back to where you bought it, (that is if you bought it new) . what sometimes does happen is a loose screw from the automatic bridge may find its way to places it shouldnt!

Bought it abroad and was in contact with the seller and he said its out of his hands as the guarantee is up. Was in Dawson Jewellers today and they quoted me 380 which is in around what i expected. Thinking of exchanging it with them instead as they offered good trade-in price
