Black beans aka turtle beans

Anyone know where I can buy these in Dublin? Looked in my local supermarket which has a wide range of beans but the closest I could find is black-eye beans. I'm hoping to get my hands on them to make a hearty Mexican soup and don't really want to have to sub in kidney beans or anything.

The only place I have seen them is in the Dublin food Co-op (saw them on the shelf this Sunday actually).

Was looking for them myself last week and had to make do with black eyed beans instead!

Hi,
I'm in cork, but I got a bag of black beans in tesco. they have a range called "wholefoods" and they are usually found by the tinned veg. 500g bag for about €2.
i had a quick look on their online shopping site and they are listed, so i assume they would have them in their dublin stores.

I've seen them sometimes in Tesco. Otherwise, you could try a health food shop - they often have them.

I used to buy the tins of organic black beans in tesco( in the whole foods section) they are pricey for beans, but thats because they are organic and i guess theres not much of a market for them, scrummy in mexican dishes though, and very good for you.
