Hey, I've got a few days off work from tomorrow and would like to get some decent training in. Does anybody know if there are any running tracks cleared of snow? I was thinking of Irishtown....UCD? I'm not afraid of the snow but would like to do some speed work if possible

There is always the indoor strip in Santry. It even has heating now.

They'd be pretty short reps though :) The lack of a decent indoor facility strikes again.

Santry is a long way north for me especially in this weather...I might pay Irishtown a visit 2mo and report back...

I believe Irishtown was closed on Monday. Might be worth your while ringing ahead to see what the situation is now.

Anyone can run in Santry outside booked club hours - it is now run by Campus Ireland. They are charging €5 for track, including gym, dressing room and indoors. I presume you can ring to find available hours.

Closed full stop or will they let you train if you clear the track yourself?

We would only have track clear and snow would be down again
