Over the past few days, I've been messing around with a CAD-type program I have for putting cars into the old 90's PC game 'Carmageddon 2', and I modelled my '82 Escort Mk3 and put it into the game! The progress can be tracked here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/48434822@N05/sets/72157625289296993/ By no means is the car I made perfect, but I think it's quite good nevertheless.

Anyway, finally finished it tonight and the results are somewhat humorous!

    Final design:

(Just to note, I didn't make the driver, that was available open source on the internet).

A few screenshots of the car in action:

Here we go! kerb weights of cars in general have started to come down as manufacturers look for ways to make their cars more efficient but over the past 2 decades cars have become very porky, Skoda Fabia ranges from 1050 to almost 1300kg! Renaults Clio weighs up to 1240kg depending on model. Thats just two examples. Anyway, lets not hijack a very good thread waffling about kerb weights;)

Brilliant!! Seeing as you did the Mk3 I think you're highly obliged to do a Mk2 in the Rothmans rally livery :D
