how can i unlock my sony ericsson x10???

    Hi, i just bought an xperian x10 on meteor billpay and i need to get it unlocked for when i go abroad.
    I rang a shop that unlocks phones and the guy wants €55 and needs to keep it for up to 5 days :(
    Does anyone know a quicker, cheaper way to get my unlocking code?

    Contact Meteor, tell them that you'll be travelling abroad and cannot afford there roaming rates so will be buying a local Sim card.

    Ask them for the unlock code, they have to give it you, it may take a week or so but they'll get it to ya.

    I thought all phones bought on meteor bill pay were already sim free???

    Brilliant! Thanks guys i will ring meteor, it is definetly locked i put my boyfriend's vodafone sim in and it asked me for an unlock code.
