Trypophobia - Anyone else have this?

Hi everyone,
I have Trypophobia, which is a fear of holes especially in clusters.
If i see any, i get really uncomfortable. Even holes in the whites of an fried egg!

i've told people about this and they thought that i was crazy..
just wondering if there was anyone else out there with this?

Your not alone, I am similar.

Some stuff not bad, others will just make me shiver and cringe in a big way at same time!

This pic really triggers it with me!

you would be surprised how few people think that!

check out the facebook page for "Trypophobia: Fear of Clusters of Holes"
and have a look in the photo album and see if it is just a one off!

It could be worse...or maybe not, some people have a fear of buttons, which must be awkward, you can maybe, more or less avoid holes.

The first thing I thought of is a phone. Are you afraid of the microphones/ear piece of a house phone?! It's probably a really stupid question.

oh and that picture of the girl makes me feel wierded out/uncomfortable in general! :O

Funny, I never even heard of that term. I didn't know what it was. Some of those pictures are freaky though and they do make me feel a bit creepy....

I think it must be a natural reaction to something that is probably associated with disease and thus provokes a revulsion response. Best way to deal with that is face it! Look at the pics until it doesn't phase you.

Dont want to click on the pic. But I've had the same phobia for as long as I can remember.

Wasn't much of a big deal until I saw that image of the larvae in a Womans breast then there's another one that's similar on somebody's back. Anybody seen them?

Really freaked me out when I seen it a few months ago. Had serious anxiety, image kept popping into my head, and had trouble sleeping.

I got over it, sort of. Still popped into my head every now and again but yesterday I was unlucky enough to come across it while on 4chan(god I hate 4chan ) and the anxiety is back and i had trouble sleeping last night. Messed up stuff

Sorry I cant link a picture but I don't wanna look at it again. Tried the whole thing of staring at it, but it just burned the image in my brain

I haven't seen those pics and i never want to they sound gross. My fear started when i was in Switzerland hiking and my friend got a bite on her back it was all swollen and the pores opened up really big it was so gross looking i still cant think about it without my stomach turning!!
