Exchange on Chanel perfume?

    Hi. I got a bottle of Chanel Allure as a birthday present. unfortunately I'm not a big fan of Allure, I am however a big fan of Chanel Chance. Do you think I could go to the Chanel counter in say Debenhams and exchange it? I don't have a receipt

    You'd need to bring it back to the store that sold it to whoever bought it for you. Is there any chance you could find out where they got it, even ask for the receipt?
    I doubt they'd return it without some form of proof of purchase, as it could have been bought anywhere, example in airport duty free for a much lower price, therefore you "profiting" from the exchange.

    You'd really need some form of proof of purchase - can the gift-giver provide anything like that to you?

    if you can't return it to the shop you could try swapping it on the beauty swap shop on beaut.ie.
