Went to open the door of my Bosch Excell dishwasher this evening and got a shock from the handle. Then the kids told me it happened to them yesterday.
What will an engineer call out cost me?
The machine is about 10 years old.

    unplug it
there may be a problem on your sockets and not the appliance
    is your sink earthed(bonded)also
possibly a job for an electrician

This happened me some years back with my dishwasher and I traced it back to a faulty plug socket (the earth wire had come loose).

Once I fixed the socket end of problem :D
