poachers caught in slieve blooms??

    well lads, heard this from a friend of mine about two weeks ago and also from a chap i met yesterday when i went out for a shot.
    turns out two lads were caught with 8 deer in the back of their jeep with lamping gear aswell somewhere in the slieve blooms. was told that everything was confiscated; the deer (obviously), two rifles and the jeep!!!!!! anyone else hear this: especially lads who hunt in the slieve bloom area. god if its true its a step in the right direction:cool:

    heard this myself, didnt hear bout 8 deer but did hear jeep and 2 rifles confisated. would be great if true, as you said a step in right direction.

    Delighted to hear it !! Had a lease there last year, 5 times saw other lads in it and evidence of lamping and poaching !! More of this needs to be done and send out the message to those who dont go through the effort and expense us law abiding folk go through !!

    Mors of this needs to be done !! :D
